The contest which started in April and ended October 15, 2005, included designs from 13 separate contractors working on projects all within a 50 mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska. Each project needed to meet certain requirements to be eligible to win. The requirements included having a retaining wall and concrete pavers measuring at least 250 feet each and fire feature as well as landscape lighting.
